I found another one: Capitalism<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/pajamasmedia.com\/blog\/want-change-lets-try-truly-free-markets\/\">article <\/a>\u00a0provides an alternative:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0I refuse to use the word \u201ccapitalism\u201d in this context, because it\u2019s really a Marxist term and doesn\u2019t capture the essence of a system in which individuals and corporations freely exchange goods and services without government interference, if indeed it ever did. When so-called \u201ccapitalists\u201d who run the finance, real estate, insurance, and now automotive industries come to Washington, hat in hand, for taxpayer dollars, it\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cato-unbound.org\/2008\/11\/10\/roderick-long\/corporations-versus-the-market-or-whip-conflation-now\/\" target=\"_ \">laughably ludicrous to call them supporters of the free market<\/a>. Moreover, the term \u201ccapitalism\u201d doesn\u2019t capture or connote the importance of property rights and the ability to exchange them freely that are <a href=\"http:\/\/corner.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=NTRhOTVhZmJlM2Q1OTk3MzM0YWQ2OWMxMmFkY2ExZDM=\" target=\"_ \">at the base of human liberty<\/a> in the way that the phrase \u201cfree market\u201d does.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m irritated with the persistent of &#8216;Marxism&#8217; as a valid political theory. It was a living theory more than a hundred years ago, but the world has changed.\u00a0 Using Marxism as economic theory <em>now<\/em> makes about as much sense as using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kheper.net\/topics\/typology\/four_humours.html\">four Humors<\/a> for medical diagnostics. \u00a0When I hear people refer to it now, I think they are being intellectually lazy and not willing to reevalute the changes that have heppened during the 20th and 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>So lets not use that word any more.
