I told her it hurt my feelings a little bit that they told me they didn’t want me to come back to my job. So she invented a new kind of people, the Meanies, and declared that they were the Meanies, and they got distracted with fleshing out the details of what the Meanies were like.<\/p>\n
But the next day, without me bringing it up again, she had more thoughts. After we got to gymnastics lessons.<\/p>\n
