I had nearly free reign at the library.<\/p>\n<p>I had always gone to tiny private christian schools. Then for high school i was homeschooled.<\/p>\n<p>and that meant I had nearly no intersection with society any more.<\/p>\n<p>Just me and my library card.<\/p>\n<p>So.<\/p>\n<p>Now I read about the 80s in America, and while I was there, I had such a slight exposure to mainstream culture that it is almost as if I weren&#8217;t there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I certainly did not set out to be obscure, and yet now that I have been for so long i kind feel strange losing it.
