{"id":965,"date":"2007-06-24T21:54:11","date_gmt":"2007-06-25T04:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/writtenbymurphy.com\/wonderblog\/?p=965"},"modified":"2012-05-11T08:19:45","modified_gmt":"2012-05-11T15:19:45","slug":"tivoli-at-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/writtenbymurphy.com\/wonderblog\/2007\/06\/tivoli-at-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Tivoli at night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was pretty psyched to see the pantomime.<\/p>\n<p>The curtain dropped:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533046528\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1109\/533046528_85c74e9d8a.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7389\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The story unfolded.<\/p>\n<p>Some French looking guy in a white clown suit (possibly the illegitimate son of the Pillsbury dough boy) was involved:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533046832\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1208\/533046832_136b994be5.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7390\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There was a halequin and a girl:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533046832\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1208\/533046832_136b994be5.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7390\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of course, a magic sword appeared in short order:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533047672\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1106\/533047672_5ae1864e29.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7392\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, in an unexpected twist, a dancing bear arrived:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533048024\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1233\/533048024_ac1a420aac.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7393\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the end, even though I was rooting for the bear, the harlequin got the girl AND&#8230;<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533144693\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1171\/533144693_4928f787c3.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7394\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&#8230;the blessing of the Greek pantheon.<\/p>\n<p>Chris commented &#8220;Maybe it made more sense in Danish.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We were STARVING at that point. It was tough to decide on a place to eat.<br \/>\nThere were a lot of places to eat. But they were<br \/>\n*expensive<br \/>\n*cold<br \/>\n*smokey<\/p>\n<p>I was just about ready to cry with how tired and hungry I was.<\/p>\n<p>This is where we ate.<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533048788\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1042\/533048788_1945172260.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7395\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was really nice and yummy. And we were in the non-smoking section.<\/p>\n<p>TIvoli was really beautiful at night:<br \/>\n<a title=\"Photo Sharing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/murphy_pics\/533146375\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1287\/533146375_3fbdcd8bf1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7398\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tired and beat, we made it back to the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, Kassel Germany. The real reason for our trip was to get to the ship show.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can&#8217;t be late. This is really important&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Don&#8217;t worry baby.
