It was raining a flood over in my neighborhood, so maybe that had something to do with it.<\/p>\n<p>Chris and I had a nice, very relaxed time together.<\/p>\n<p>It occurs to me that staying up until midnight to catch the absolute first minute of the new year is kind of silly.<\/p>\n<p>Why not just go to bed, and wake up to a new year, with a full night&#8217;s sleep?<\/p>\n<p>Something to think about.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems like almost everyone I know has had a mellow new year&#8217;s celebration.
