This is a new show on Bravo. 5 gay guys get together to spiff up a clueless straight guy, and give him a makeover.
It is hilarious! I love this show. I tell you what, the sarcastic over-the-top gay culture is really MADE for TV. I mean it! These guys learned their moves from imitating the imitations of female glamour from Hollywood, so they are practically cartoon-like in their ability to quip and move things along.
Yes, they are extremely catty sometimes. But they aren’t actually mean, they don’t want to make anybody feel bad. They are there to make their straight guy’s life better.
I would have thought that some of the straight guys would have gotten the willies, what with the gay guys pawing them and making little flirty comments, but they all seemed very comfortable and having a good time.
I have to say, I look at my house differently. What would Carson say?
SOMEBODY TRACK DOWN THAT THEME SONG!
Queer eye is really great…the Fab 5 are the best…..don’t you just want to be there watchin’ what they are gonna do next. The episode where the guy starts crying because he is so happy with the results really makes me smile…. and the comments by one of the the Fab 5 “you go ahead and cry”…”Crying is good” that was priceless
I need to find the theme song! I can’t find anything on “Wildlife” who did the original theme song….That song is great and the whole show is so well done. … PLEASE somebody track down that song!
I also love the themesong from QEFTSG. Here’s the info I’ve got: it’s called “All Things” and it’s by Widelife.
And their website:
http://www.widelifeonline.com/
Apparently the song will be released sometime soon.
Cheers,
Eileen
In the episode where the guy cries, you can hear Carson say “Don’t cry for us, Argentina!” hahaha
I think the show is just outstanding. I laugh out loud every time I watch it…..
Their advice is fabulous!
But where is Jai?
The Culture Guy,Jai Is a panty waste. He is totally useless for the show.He should get down on his knees(NO Pun intended)and thank the heavens he has that job.I mean he adds NOTHING to the show.Ted(though a REAL guy, andkindof cool actually,is not needed either. Why use a food critic?
The other 3 make the show.
Actually Joe, they all have day jobs. Jai is a fulltime actor and features in Broadway productions.
Also, on the show, Jai does a lot of background stuff that you never see. Don’t be too hard on him!
“CRY it out” wuz a great line BUT they were SOOO mean to him. “RAINMAN”???!!!!!!!!!
KERRIST! NOT that he didn’t DESERVE it tho! OMG! shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
“LOOKS GOOD–NOT that I’d EAT IT!~” tooo funny–this guy used the same CLOTH fer everything but his ass! oh my oh my.
If anybody has the themesong, please add me on MSN and send it to me…xforeverwasyesterdayx@hotmail.com
Thank’s a lot!
i think Joe misunderstood the position of Jai who
is taking an important part in the show.
Try to imagine, a guy has a very nice house and body , but he is lacked of confident to get along with a girl ( consider as a straight guy ) , can he get grilfriend without Jai’s help ?
If u say he is useless for the show , that’s really unfair to him.
